"Not to be missed tour"

Kullo was an excellent driver and host. He has excellent knowledge of the area and although it is a 12 hour day from Riga to Tallinn he never fails to try his best to make the tour enjoyable for me and my family. We truly enjoyed the trip. The tour guide, Ruta, was very informative, very friendly, nice and did do her best to provide interesting facts and details of the sights in the tour. She is very knowledgeable and passionate which helps you truly experience the places you see. The downside was that we had the tour around the holidays and most of the sights were closed, We missed the soviet era museum, as it was also closed, which we were quite excited about. We were upset because no one informed us in advance, that everything would be closed, to decide if the cost of the tour is worth it for us considering. (It is not common knowledge especially as practices differ from country to country) Be sure to check if things are open when you plan to visit.

Our guide Laura was very enthusiastic throughout our whole trip! Also very knowledgeable - I will thoroughly recommend! I think travelling from Riga to Vilnius through this option is the most value for money as well. For places like Hill of Crosses - you’d have spent a lot of time going there from Vilnius. But for the sightseeing bus, it was something like a pit stop! Sightseeing while travelling, it was the best of both worlds!

I had an awesome time on my tour from Riga to Tallinn. Going in December meant that I got to see the snowy countryside. From the beautiful bobsleigh track and the spectacular views there to visiting Castle ruins, beautiful small towns and the pretty city of Parnu. During my trip we also fortunately had the flexibly to visit a bog as well which was a truly stunning experience. I 100% recommend to anyone wishing to explore the Latvian and Estonian countryside!

We had a lot of fun on our way from Riga to Tallinn with the bus from Riga to Tallinn. We had a private tour for our friends group, and the day just flew by. We would gladly repeat the experience.

The tour was a perfect way to see more of Latvia and Lithuania than we otherwise would have from a bus, which was the other option to travel between the two cities. Laura was a terrific guide, extremely knowledgeable about the two countries and about the sites along the route. And a vibrant personality. She had the five of us comfortable as a group within fifteen minutes of leaving the meeting place. The van was comfortable, and the chosen sightseeing stops were varied and interesting, and perfect for breaks.

We enjoyed our trip from Tallinn to Riga. The van was comfortable, with 7 passengers. We left Tallinn on time and arrived in Riga about 45 minutes earlier than scheduled. The stops were spread out and our guide, Rita, was conscientious about bathroom stops. She provided great info along the way and was very easy to talk to. The War Museum was closed, and that was a bit of a disappointment but Ruta found an alternative place to visit. Yes, it was a long day, but we were pleased with our decision.

What a great way to get between these two cities. Some very interesting stop points and great informative input from the driver/guide. Only negative was that the guide had a soft gentle voice, so when sharing information in the minibus, those in the back row could not hear her. Otherwise highly recommend. Gutted that the trip from Riga to Vilnius was cancelled due to lack of guide.

"Catching the sights enroute to Riga"

This is a long day but very interesting and so much better than flying or traveling via bus. We stopped at Kaunas, Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace and Salaspils. There was ample time to explore at each stop and our guide was a wealth of information. We would definitely recommend this mode of transportation and Laura!

I really like this idea of sightseeing from one place to another. I have travelled the world and been from country to country. I think it is clever and great to have this option rather than just taking a bus from one place to another. I was able to see a lot of sites that I wouldn’t have been able to go to due to time constraints. Ruta was knowledgeable and friendly. The van was comfortable as there were only 6 of us rather than 8. The restaurant we stopped at served delicious food with reasonable prices. The sites we stopped at were relevant and we had enough time considering it was just a day tour. Definitely recommend this tour!

"A fun way to cross from Tallinn to Riga"

My wife and I had a fantastic experience with this Daytrip from Tallinn to Riga. Anna was an excellent driver and guide. It was a wonderful way to travel between Tallinn and Riga, allowing us to visit places that we would definitely not go on our own . Some of the highlights included the Estonian castle in Viljandi, the Latvian castle in Cesis, and an Estonian national standing swing in Viljandi. We also enjoyed a hike along a river in a Latvian national park, visited a military museum in Valga, and saw the national bobsleigh track in Sigulda. Throughout the journey, Anna shared the rich history of Estonia and Latvia from the Middle Ages onward, making the trip very educational. We also stopped to have lunch and taste local food and drinks. Overall, it was an informative and enjoyable way to travel between Riga and Tallinn.

Easily the tour was the highlight of our tour of the Baltics. Sten was great, he must have answered over 100 questions about a wide range of questions and he patiently answered them all. I understand he is leaving the company soon and that is a big shame. I whole heatedly recommend this tour. My van is good. The staff is kind and professinal. Lunch is delicious and not expensive. The programe is sufficient. Usually one day tour from Riga to Rundale palace is 60-80€ and one day tour from Vilnius to hill of crosses is about 50-60euro. So it is a most valueable way to transfer from Riga to Vilnius.

Booking this tour was hands down the best decision for traveling from Riga to Vilnius. Our guide Laura was amazing, knowledgeable and just a lovely and funny person. She really made the 11+ hours fly by. The stops along the way were chosen well, and Laura gave us lots of background info on the individual stops but then we also had time to just explore a little. The lunch stop was very yummy and a great location and the fact that she ordered our chosen food ahead saved us time. We travelled as a family of 3 and really can't recommend this tour enough (even our teenager had a great time :)

Great guide kept the tour running smoothly. Unusual one way tour but a great way to get between Tallinn and Riga and see places tourists do not usually see across two countries. Highlights included Estonian castle at Viljandi - Latvian castle at Cesis - Estonian national type of standing swing at Viljandi - a hike along a river in the Latvian national park - a military museum in Valga - the national bobsleigh track at Sigulda. The guide Sten told us about the history of the two countries from the muddle ages as the tour progressed. Very informative way to travel berween Riga and Tallinn

We had a private tour to Riga with one stop (per our request). Our driver was kind and patient, plus very knowledgeable about Estonia and the small city we visited, Parnu. We really enjoyed this tour! We don't drive, which made it challenging when planning a trip that would take us to all of the key places we wanted to visit in Latvia and Lithuania. This tour was perfect because it took us to many of those places while also moving us along to Vilnius, the next stop on our Baltic journey! Laura, our tour guide, was great. She is energetic and kept the tour moving along with the perfect amount of time to visit each place. If you unfortunately fell asleep in the car (jet lag, not boredom!), you didn't miss important details, as she saved the key facts for our stops to see the various sites. Laura somehow remembered everyone's names! There was a good variation in the types of sites we visited. A must see for us was the Hill of Crosses, and we were glad we saw it! We were also glad to visit the Salaspils Memorial and the Rundale Palace. It's hard to choose, but my favourite place we visited was Kaunas. We took this tour in December, so the Christmas Market there was a site to see, especially lit up at night! This was a jam-packed day, but a great way to travel between Riga and Vilnius and see unique sites along the way. We highly recommend this tour or the same tour in the other direction.

It was a trip that brought us safely to Vilnius and along the way we saw the different places that have meant so much to the locals the memorial , the palace , Kausas the other capital of Lithuania and my favorite the hill of the crosses with a superb lunch at a cozy countryside restaurant by the lake that makes you want to stay. Our guide Daumants was very informative , easy to talk to and showed us all this beautiful places while telling us the histories and facts related to them. It was a great road trip and our guide the beautiful artistic Hanna did a great job despite the problems presented to her by the roadworks ongoing in front of our hotel. Vlidjani was beautiful , lunch was delicious Gauja with its forest and stream and sandstones was serene and quite magnificent and Celcis with its castle and tales was interesting with delicious pastries and tasty tea. Thanks Hanna for a great road trip!

"Personalised, educational and unhurried."

We were restricted to one possible tour date, and Traveller Tours (TT) went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. (A big shout-out to Kerda in the office for making it happen!) 5 stars! Ivar, also excelled in his role as Tour Guide (TG). He ensured we arrived safely at all the promised venues, and provided valuable history and information about each. 5 stars! However, our late October tour date meant it was dark when we reached a couple of tour destinations. Fortunately, that didn't matter for our visit to "the only Bobsleigh Track in the Baltics"; where we got to see a number of international teams practicing! But, taking in "the sights of the medieval Old Town in Cēsis", was sadly impacted by the reduced daylight hours - and because most of the Old Town had closed for the day. 2 stars. Of course, neither TT nor the TG, can control the weather, road conditions or the number of daylight hours - so no direct blame there. Nonetheless, if you are not touring in summer, and are determined to see a particular venue, you may want to ask [in advance] about the likelihood of that happening in daylight. Or maybe ask whether your Tour could start earlier - and [hopefully] finish before dark? That said, we would definitely recommend this tour to others visiting Estonia and Latvia.

The guide was excellent and the places we visited gave more insight into this wonderful country as opposed to travelling by train (difficult to impossible) or bus (quicker but boring). The lunch stop was brilliant but the military musuem afterwards was not a highlight to be honest. I would suggest that a couple of the other stops are extended and this museum dropped from the itinerary. Apart from that great value great guide and great way to see more of the country.

I can't recommend this tour enough. We were a group of 8 women traveling together, and this transfer tour made the process of moving all of us (and all of our luggage) from one city to the other not just completely painless, but also genuinely enjoyable. Turning the day into a lovely, relaxed tour where we could get out and wander and see the incredible sights along the way turned what could have been a boring transfer day into a truly memorable part of our trip. The lunch was wonderfully chosen and really a highlight as well. Most of all, our guide Laura just stole the show. Loved it. 4 of us drove from Tallinn to Riga with Ivar. He picked us up at our hotel in Tallinn. We made a stop at a historic town, for a lovely lunch on the border, a wonderful national park for a short hike through the woods and to see the sandstone cliffs, and at the bobsled track. Ivar was very interesting to talk with and gave us loads of information. It was a long day but we got to see some of the countryside of both countries which was exactly what we wanted.

This is the best way to see both countries more than just the capital cities and it's the most time-efficient way. So much better than a boring bus ride if you go direct between the 2 cities. I had wanted to visit the Hill of Crosses before coming to this region, and it would have been an extra day's excursion from Vilnius if I hadn't joined this tour. It was a fantastic trip! I also had chance to visit some places that I hadn't heard of before. Laura was very friendly, enthusiastic and fun. I feel very lucky to have her as the guide. Unless you are flying or self-driving, this tour is your best option travelling between Riga and Vilnius!

We spent the day with our guide Hanna, a local Estonian folk musician and learned so much about the history and culture of both Estonia and Latvia. The sights were well chosen. I was a little intimidated when we entered the war museum, but we ended up having a very interesting and eye opening conversation about the Soviet occupation in front of a map at the museum. The forest is beautiful. The bobsled track is fun.

We booked this tour when all other buses were booked—so we mainly just needed transportation. The stops were pretty good but I didn’t need the military museum in Valga. We were rained out of Cesis but the town looked lovely. There was no commentary while we were driving which is fine. It would have helped to have more information at each stop before we left the van so we could be prepared for what to bring—for example, we’ll take a 30 minute walk and then come back to the bus. We would then know to bring binoculars, water, etc.

It was a great value for us—not only did he pick us up right outside our Airbnb and took us to some fun stops, but he also found us a delicious lunch stop, helped us locate bathrooms and then a convenience store stop later on so the kids could get sodas and a treat. He was fun, patient and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling from Estonia to Latvia!

Excellent tour to explore beautiful sights on the way from city to another. Laura was the most accomodating guide, she gave us good introductions to all of the sights before we went to explore them independently. Really nice and helfull guide and driver. She was really good, both driving and talking with us. The tour have 4 stops plus time for having a lunch. It is a perfect way to see something else in the Baltics apart from the main cities.

We were delighted to see Mike at the Riga meeting point since he had recently escorted us from Tallinn to Riga. Mike has a good singing voice and is spontaneous with his stories. Like any good story teller, he does not let you know at the beginning that he is going into story mode. The weather cooperated with our journey. Although Mike did not have to deliver us our hotel, he surprised us again by doing just that. It is a wonderful way to enjoy sights while enjoying the weather, Mike's stories, and seeing interesting sights along the way. What a nice combination to create a terrific travel memory.

The tour was absalutely fantastic. I highly reccomend it. A brilliant way to get from One City in one country to another. The tour included 3 castles, a national park a military museum and a bobsleigh track a fab mix of things. We were a small group of 4 plus the tour guide which was a good size fore me. As a solo traveller it was lovely to have a whole day spent with other travellers and not have to do the planning I just had to enjoy it. Our guide Mike was lovely really easy going told us lots of info about each place and interesting personal history too. Overall, an excellent way to transfer from Tallinn to Riga. Lots of history, stories and laughs. Might be nice to stop briefly at the bicycle training area, which we passed along the way. Also, military museum was closed which should have been known in advance. Church wss closed so we could only see from outside. Lunch location was great, which is right after military museum. Because it got dark early, bob sledding track was dark but we did visit as it is last stop before Riga. We had private tour. Mikelis was excellent tour guide with clear English and wonderful stories. Marii arranged this private tour on short notice because we were the only passengers on our booked group tour. Just slight adjustments should have been made for church and military museum being closed. Because this wss private tour, Millie picked us up at Tallinn hotel and dropped us at our Riga hotel, even carrying the luggage into the hotel for us.

We drove with two other passengers. Good conversations. Stoped at many interesting sites. The military museum was unnecessary. The two castles and national park and bobsled track were wonderful. The total trip, though, took too long. A little less time at some places would be good. We left at 9 am and arrived 9pm. An hour earlier would have been better. Mike was a good guide and fun company.

We took the trip on August 26th and it was well worth it as was the trip from Vilnius to Riga. There is temptation to just see the 3 Baltic capitals but this is a mistake. These trips enable you to see more of the 3 countries. This tour had 5 different u Interesting stops plus an excellent lunch at a brewery. Mike the guide was excellent. Highly recommended

Our guide Laura was very welcoming, knowledgeable and successful in making us excited to visit Lithuania for the first time. The day tour was great value for money in my opinion much better than just catching a coach. We saw interesting stops between Riga + Vilnius that we would have totally missed otherwise. It was a small bus so you were never waiting around for other people. The lunch stop was good, no complaints. Ps traveller tours are really good to deal with, any issues that arise their team are really responsive and professional.

When travelling between the Baltic capitals its tempting to take the quickest route but that would be a mistake. Instead for a bit more money take the guided sight seeing mini bus / people carrier and see more of Lithuania and Latvia. The vehicle was very comfortable but the highlight was our guide Laura. This was a great way to see a little of both Latvia and Lithuania other than the cities, and was made even better by Laura, who had more energy for 12 hours straight than you could possibly imagine. This was my second tour and there were four of us who previously took the Tallinn-Riga bus two days earlier. The only downside is that the lunch restaurant ran out of beer, which I think may have been a capital offense in Lithuania, although the venison sausages were delicious.

A great day with a high energy tour guide. As a solo traveller, spending the day with 8 other people seeing the sights (but with no responsibility) is a great break from my average holiday day walking around, plus you get the the next city on the Helsinki-Tallinn-Riga-Vilnius route that seems to be very, very popular (at least half of the people on my tour were following that route.) Highly recommend! (You should be selling Bobsled/Luge track tshirts, though!)

We traveled from Vilnius to Riga with Laura. The meeting point is not clearly described, a map with an X would be helpful. Luckily Laura was searching around for people. Kaunas (1 hour is too short), Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace and Salaspils are great stops. Laura is a good driver and a bottomless pit of energy. Hope to meet you again some day.

I was a little nervous about booking this option for traveling from Riga to Vilnius. I was a solo traveler in my sixties who doesn’t like tours. I shouldn’t have been nervous at all. It was a wonderful way to make the trip, and to see a few things in between. Our guide, Laura, was just delightful — giving us the background of every site we stopped at and, of course, telling us why her hometown of Vilnius was the most wonderful place in the world. The places we stopped — the Salaspils Memorial, Rundale Palace, Hill of Crosses, and Kaunas — were varied and interesting. Sufficient time was allotted at each, and we arrived in Vilnius around 8PM, which at least in my mind was perfect. I recommend this.

Our guide / driver was excellent, would highly recommend. Numerous stops along the way, their is some light hiking involved so this trip is not suitable for mobility issues. Would a recommend bringing snacks and water, it is a very long 12h day. The lunch stop was superb after crossing border to Estonia however this comes late in the day 2-3pm.

Laura our guide was lovely and flexible in terms of how/where we spent time (though I would suggest some quiet time in the van as too much music can make it hard to relax/ doze off on the road). First of all: even if the weather is harsh, don't hesitate to take part in this tour! The guide was funny and knowledgeable, and definitely contributed to make this trip even more pleasant. It's been raining with high wind for most of the day, but, honestly, this made even more interesting the experience at Salaspils and the Hill of Crosses. Of course, if you want to fully enjoy the Rundāle Palace Garden with all of its flowers, it is better to book the tour for a sunny day in May or June. St Peter and St Paul Cathedral in Kaunas is literally a piece of jewelry. All highly recommended!

Laura our guide was absolutely fantastic. This is a must do if you're travelling between the Baltic capitals. Let's you see sights that you would need a rental car to see and turns a mundane bus trip into a great day of sight seeing. Riga to Vilnius was great, highlights were the rose garden at the Baltic version of versailles. Also had a fabulous lunch at a deer farm Audruvis. Restoranas. The venison carpaccio and beet soup were spot on.

Laura was a passionate and knowledgeable guide. We visited several sites of interest between Tallinn and Riga - so much better than flying or just sitting on a bus - and good value for money. Our kids (8 and 10) managed the trip fine, despite it being a really long day (11 hours). I certainly recommend this trip. The only reason I score 4 rather than 5 stars is because I didn't get quite as much from the places that we visited as I did from the Riga - Vilnius trip (we did this a couple of days later), but that's a personal preference!

Interesting, instructive, fun and very complete tour with Mikelis! I booked the tour because of the program and the reviews were good but I did not expect it to be THAT good. Thank you so much for this tour - I've been telling all my friends to travel to the Baltic countries and use your company to travel from one capital to the next. Mike was a brilliant guide who could answer all questions (sorry, Mike but you were just too good so I had to ask that many), make the complicated history understandable and we forgot the time (12 hours with 7 strangers could have felt like a very long day but the hours flew by). One major regret: the tour from Riga to Vilnius was fully booked and I could not do this again.

Such a fun trip from Riga to Tallinn. I’m so glad we had enough people to do the tour as I can’t imagine my Baltics trip without it. All of the stops along the way are “must see” so this is an excellent way to do a road trip but with a local guide. Laura was so energetic and fun and really exuded love for her homeland and knowledge of the history. We paid to do a quick tour inside Rundale Palace (only the gardens are included in the tour) which is good because it started pouring rain. The time allotted for Kaunas was enough to really take in the old town and see the castle. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect way to travel from Tallinn to Riga. This trip allowed us to visit a wide range of interesting places; which would otherwise be missed. Our tour guide Mike was AMAZING! Knowledgeable - with lots of historical information and folk facts, fun, approachable and a great singing voice! He even accommodated our request to visit the swing on the Estonian/Latvian border and car karaoke! His stories about folklore and references to his own experiences were very valuable. The tour was great. A big shoutout to our guide Mike: he was awesome! He told us many stories about Latvia and Estonia, helped us understanding better the history of these 2 countries, he narrated folk stories about the places we visited, he explained different type of plants and vegetation, etc. he is very knowledgeable and he is also talented: he sang for us a popular song at Viljandi! ( he’s a great at singing!). His English is excellent. The tour was well organized with a good balance between driving time and visiting places. Although the trip is from 9:00 to 21:00, the time went by quickly. Everything was perfect, the only thing I would change is the stop at the War Museum. Although the content is interesting ( and Mike did a great job in explaining things and even shared family stories regarding the Soviet occupation of Latvia) the displays at the museum need some improvement ( the dummies in uniform were a bit outdated) Probably, more time in the nature would be better.

A really great way of making the most of crossing the border. It’s really easy to just think of the cities when visiting the Baltic countries, however there are amazing locations outside of the capitals too and this trip is a really easy way to visit these locations. This tour took 12 hours, so it was a long day, but worth it since we were able to experience the Estonian and Latvian countryside while also learning about the history of the area. We did the Riga to Tallinn sightseeing tour. Guide Mikelis took us for a long day full of sightseeing. We departed on time, the guide was there to greet us. The van was spacy, and very comfortable. We were so glad that we could participate, to enjoy the countryside and to see so much more of both Latvia and Estonia. Started at the bobsleigh track which was fun because we could walk down the track on foot. Soooo funny. The national park with the limestone cliffs was crazy beautiful. The guide explained a lot, let us taste some herbs in nature and he even sang for us. The towns of Cesis and Viljandi both were lovely. Had the opportunity to have lunch in a great restaurant in Valga. For us the least Intresting part was the military museum. But the highlight of the day was that we saw a wild brown bear near the woodlands, just beside the road. Incredible!!!!!! Mikelis was also so sweet to make a stop so I could photography one of the many many stork nests near the farms. I cannot recommend this tour enough, but it wouldn't have been as much fun as we didn't had this fantastic guide Mikelis.Thumbs up guys, keep on the good work!

"A fun and interesting way to travel from Vilnius to Riga"

We were a group of eight friends who decided to use this tour to get to Riga. It was a great decision. We got to visit the town of Kaunas that we otherwise wouldn’t have seen. The stop at the Hill of Crosses was both eerie and interesting. We were then lucky to have the most beautiful light when we got to Rundale Palace. Because we travelled in the very late Autumn, the days were short and saw the most beautiful sunset there. Laura, our guide, was enthusiastic and gave a fantastic energy to the whole tour and agreed without hesitation to try to see Salsapils in pitch darkness. Thanks to one of our friend’s strong photography lighting we got to experience this place in a very different way. It was intensely emotional. All in all, we had fun and saw so much more than we would otherwise. For a great price. Thank you!

The experience exceeded our expectation! We opted for this tour to view some of the sights that would not have been possible otherwise if we took a 4 hour straight drive from Tallinn to Riga. We had a personal tour on sunday 9 august 2020. our guide (Mikelis) had studied geography, i remember. We really enjoyed the tour. Visited Kaunas, hills of crosses, Salaspils Memorial, Rundāle palace and had a nice local food. In the morning when we arrived at the location the tour guide was all ready and good to go. The tour van was comfortable and had nice airconditioning. The tour guide even brought some extra water with her for us. Our tour guide was very excited and energetic, even though it was early in the morning. She also has a good sense of humour. She told us a lot about all kinds of stuff not only history of Latvia and Estonia but also some funny facts about Riga, Estonia and Tallinn. The stops underway are very welcome, not just for stretching your legs but they're also at very nice places where you wouldn't go at first. Liine showed us some sick berry plucking skills. Also the delicious lunch at an extraordinary restaurant was a nice surprise. It is highly recommended to take this tour. You won't be sorry.

I took this tour back in August 2018 and it was wonderful! We travelled from Tallinn to Riga and it was SUCH a good way to get between the two cities. The tour itself was wonderful and honestly one of the highlights of our trip. Everywhere we stopped was super interesting and not somewhere we would have found on our own (especially as we usually stick to the cities). The trip is planned to perfection and our tour guide was so warm and friendly (I think her name was Trina?). She answered every question that was asked of her and was so informative and helpful. I remember researching lots of different ways to travel between the two cities and being unsure of how this trip would go. I am so glad I booked this as I still vividly remember the day now and could not stop singing its praises when I returned home. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants an interesting way to travel between the two cities and really get a feel for the surrounding countryside =)

"Wonderful Midsummer excursion"

We had the first tour for Traveller Tours for the season due to coronavirus, and it was wonderful. Because no one else had booked we ended up with a private tour and had Ruta as our guide. She was a smart and kind guide and very patient with our 1 and 3 year olds. She was also proud to be Lithuanian and that was fun to see the Baltic pride and learn from a local. We loved the sights included in the Riga-Vilnius tour and thought the country side of both countries was stunning: lush, green, and in full bloom at this time of year. We were lucky to be ok to travel here from Helsinki and recommend seeing these underrated countries with this excellent tour.

We took a private tour for 4 ladies to travel from Tallinn to Riga. It was very convenience to carry our 4 big luggages and 4 carry on bags door-to-door from our airbnb in Tallinn to airbnb in Riga. We stop at 3 towns with beautiful snow everywhere in Viljandi, Valga & Valka, Cesis. The guide and driver is friendly and did his best to give us information about each place and help us took photos. The cost for 4 persons is €362.

As I understand it, the easiest way to get from Vilnius to Riga is to take a bus, and if all you care about is getting from Point A to Point B, I imagine the bus is fine. But if you are a traveler, and you really want to see more of Lithuania and Latvia than just a brief overview of their capital cities - and if you really want to get an understanding of the countries and the region from people who are from the area - you HAVE to do this sightseeing bus tour! Pickup (and arrival, for that matter) were on-time, but still left the group plenty of time for the scheduled stops (Kaunas; the Hill of Crosses; Rundale Palace). It seems like we had a "bonus" trip, because there was another guide who was actually "playing tourist" that day, so we had two sources of information and opinions to give us the complete story. Very well done, and highly recommended!

"Touring in Winter"

We are seniors and enjoyed this trip, the guide/driver was both entertaining and knowledgeable. We prefer to travel in winter so the tourist numbers are manageable, no queues etc however the down side of this tour is that the sites we stopped at were either closed or we arrived in darkness. The nature walk in Gauja National Park was excellent we arrived during daylight so we explored extensively in the time we had. The Valga military museum was closed but our guide had telephoned ahead and the curator opened the doors to us. It was really interesting a snap shot of what happened in the Soviet era. About ½ hours drive from the Tallinn drop off we visited, in pitch dark the remnants of a castle? We couldn’t take pictures so we don’t really have a record. FYI we travelled Vilnius to Riga by Express LUX bus as the sightseeing tour bus was not available, it was very cheap. €28 single. Punctual and comfortable with Wi-Fi and movies. Frankly we would have cancelled the Riga-Tallinn trip if we had taken the Vilnius - Riga sightseeing tour bus. I bet this is a most lively trip in summer with a full bus! We are glad we did it!

This trip was so much fun. We stoped at the Olympic bobsled track, which was awesome, hiked through part of a national park next to a river, stopped at a war museum and a couple of interesting towns. Lunch was at a local cafe. Our guide was informative and a fun road trip driver. My husband and I really enjoyed our day - long but fun!

The stops were actually quite boring but I cant blame the tour operator for that. I think however that the visit to the military museum can be replaced with something else. There wasnt much to see and most of it wasnt even in english. Something else to be improved is that the guide should bring us to a good photo stop or viewpoint and allow the group 5 to 10 min to take photos (which he rarely did. Good phototaking spots and viewpoints are also never pointed out). There is no point in just walking from the van to the sight and back again on stop. Those who were taking photos had to play catch up and walk quickly to rejoin the group.

Our guide was super fun and interesting. He presented Estonian and Latvian history in really interesting ways and he shared with us many fun facts. It is great that the group can’t have more than 8 participants, this way we were always on time, didn’t get lost or anything. Although the weather wasn’t the best (gray sky and drizzle - but what can you expect in October?), we managed to visit all the places and the gray weather didn’t ruin the impression. Amazing tour, and would like to do more of them between other cities.

Five destinations in a day to know amazing fall landscapes, included a rare gem in Valga, the war museum. More than a transfer between Riga and Tallinn sharing experiences with a group of maximum 8 people. We were driven and assisted by Daumants, a brilliant young Latvian that had to be till late with us as we had got a little stop at a gas station and because of the rain he was so kind of leaving us beside our hotel in Tallinn. The trip increased our understanding of this region and the tour guide Lamas was extremely informative and helpful. Instead of big cities, we loved the rural countryside and small towns we passed through. The ride was comfortable. A suggestion would be to streamline stops at sites to allow more daylight in the last two hour segment, especially at this time of year. We are older and Lamas was understanding of our needs.

I travelled from Tallinn to Riga with this sightseeing bus. It was very good with us being just four people. The guide was amazing, she had so much knowledge and was presenting everything in an interesting way. She read the group very well and gave us options along the way. It was a joy to travel with my driver/guide, a fresh and knowledgeable young women. I learnt so much about the region, its history, culture, economics etc which would not have been possible by any other mode of travel. In this case it was one on one and for me very much worth it. I felt relaxed and able to ask questions at any point. The choice of highlights was spot on from the sobering Salaspils Memorial, the beautiful Runsdale palace, the Hill of Crosses to Kaunas and its charm and history. The Lithuanian countryside and its agriculture was also most interesting to me. Breaks were well timed with an enjoyable time over a meal at a deer farm and some time on my own allowing me to photograph and reflect on things seen. Kamile gave me a lot of helpful information for my time alone in Vilnius enhancing considerably my time spent there. Thank you!

She also took care of all our needs - comfort stops, lunch stop and coffee stop. We visited all the places listed and our guide gave information at each point. It’s also a great way to meet fellow travelers we had representatives from Thailand, Hong Kong, Brazil, Mexico and ourselves from Ireland. Ruta was a great driver and we could judge this as we rode up front. Very calm and safe. If you are considering this method of travel go for it you won’t regret it.

My girlfriend and I took the Traveller Tours trip from Vilnius to Riga last week. It was a minibus of up to 8 and we were a full complement. The minibus and driver/guide arrived at the designated collection point early and introduced herself to us all and made us very welcome. It was clear from the outset our guide, Ruta, was enthused and full of passion. She spoke with great enthusiasm and exceptional knowledge about her country’s history - you certainly would not have thought that English wasn’t her first language her description being in great detail. All in all a great way to travel between these beautiful cities and to gain an appreciation of their history as well as to visit several interesting places en route. Would thoroughly recommend.

The sightseeing bus from Vilnius to Riga is amazing, there is no better way to travel between the two. Interesting stops along the way make the long distance seem short. A big thank you to our guide for making it interesting and to all my new friends for the memories and laughs I had along the way.

Our tour guide was Laura. She is professional from warming us up to sharing with us what we are supposed to know about the scenes and history throughout the tour. What's more, she's an excellent driver, making the travel comfortable. Concerning the tour spots, I would suggest adding another half-hour stay at Kaunas. All in all, I highly recommend this to everyone planning to travel from Riga to Vilnius.

We upgraded to the private transfer (Riga to Vilnius) as we wanted to visit some different attractions (and also spend more time at some) to those on the group departure and it was well worth the extra expense. Beatrice met us at our apartment a few minutes early in a spacious van for a brief stop at Salaspils Memorial for a very brief stop as it started to rain. Beatrice was then able to time our stops at Rundale Palace and Hill of Crosses for longer stays while the sun was out and then drive during the rain (using a weather app we assume). We also had an extended stop in Kaunas where we visited the main churches, Beatrice showed us her favourite street art and then also visited Ninth Fort before proceeding to Vilnius, where Beatrice also assisted us in communication with the apartment owner. Overall it was like travelling with a friend rather than just a guide.

This tour is the best way to travel from Riga to Vilnuis. Ruta our driver/guide was so knowledgeable and in the nicest way she took us to places where we would have had to organise a day tour from one or the other of the cities. We and five others were taken to Salaspils, the Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace etc. We enjoyed a nice lunch and the good company of people from other parts of the world and I would highly recommend travelling with this company. This was the 2nd tour we have done with Traveller Tours and I wish they had tours going into Poland. Much better than trains.

I wanted to explore the countryside of Estonia and Latvia while backpacking through Eastern Europe this year. I took this trip in September where Andres was our tour guide. He has a lot of knowledge about the history of both the countries and kept us interested in knowing about the past, culture, traditions, hopes and dreams of the people. Witnessing the green landscape of countryside beyond the charms of Tallinn/Riga Old Towns is something totally worth doing. Also, the tour happens in small groups so you get better opportunities to bind with people on the journey with you. I would recommend this road trip to anyone who is planning to visit Baltic countries.

What a great way to get from Riga to Tallinn! Yes, I could have taken a much quicker trip on a direct bus, but I would have missed seeing so much of the lovely countryside in Latvia and Estonia--places that are definitely off the beaten track. And I wouldn't have had half the fun I did with our charming and enthusiastic guide, Hannes, and the nice group of travelers from Brazil, Germany, the UK and Spain. From slightly rigorous forest hikes to walkabouts in historic towns to a whacky tour of the former Soviet bobsled training facilities, it was a day packed with both the fun and the serious. We also had a lovely lunch at a handsome country restaurant. Hannes was witty and good about keeping us all together. This was a great opportunity to learn tall tales and dig into the very complex history of the Baltics.

Our guide was so knowledgeable and never rushed any part of the tour (in fact all the timing was perfect). The minivan was very spacious (which I had worried about as I'm tall and leg room is always an issue - but not this time!) and the restaurant and meal halfway was also lovely. Trip was 100% true to description, and know why it rates so highly in reviews.. An excellent way to advance our holiday from Tallinn to Riga. We saw much more of Estonia and Latvia then if we had just caught the straight through bus. We thought the 65Euro price was very good value for money Guide Uku was excellent - very good English and judged perfectly what we might want to know - often guides want to tell you everything they know and more.............. Weather behaved - Uku paced the trip well - never felt rushed and never felt time was just being filled in. Must mention the lunch at Varga at the Hotel whose name I didn't record - fantastic. "Good way to explore Estonia! Excellent Guide!"

Rather than taking the direct bus from Riga to Tallinn, this is the best way to explore both countries outside the city centre. Our guide, Katrin is very friendly and knowledgable in explaining the histories of both countries and also all the attractions that we visited. She is also a very safe driver and prepared some umbrellas in case it is raining. I don't feel rushed and she is very flexible with time. On top of that, she has helped us above and beyond when my mom left her bagpack in one of the attraction sites. She makes sure that the bagpack is delivered to us the next day! We were trully appreciative of her efforts in helping us. She has truly displayed an excellent representation of Estonian who is kind hearted! The other guide, Andres who voluntereed to get the bagpack and deliver it to us is truly a star! We will remember Estonia with sweet memories not only because of the beautiful attractions that the country has but also the kind hearted people!

Everything was just as described and ran like clockwork but without any hassle or rushing, a great day in a wonderful holiday in Riga and Vilnius. We opted for a private tour as it was more flexible. In particular, we had visited Sigulda for a full day (by train from Riga - recommended) so we asked to skip Sigulda and spend more time at Cesis Castle (also recommended.) Note - Elina said that even on a full tour, the guide can do that if everyone agrees. Elina was full of information and had excellent conversational English. Even if you are on the small group tour (about eight people, max nine), travelling between Riga and Tallinn this way allows you to see a lot more of the country outside the capital cities.

Took the tour from Riga to Vilnius. Stops included: Salaspils Memorial, Rundale Palace, Hill of Crosses and Kaunas. Along the way there was a stop for lunch (pay for yourself). Overall the tour was extremely well done, there was ample opportunity to explore at each location with the guide providing some history and information at each stop. Our guide was also top-notch and was able to not only give a great rundown of the history for each location but was also able to add some personal anecdotes. Would highly recommend as a way to get between cities while being able to see some of the countryside.

"Worth your time."

This was a great alternative to a regular bus from Riga to Tallinn. The tour was in a new minibus with only 6 passengers. The guide was a very good driver, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable about regional history and culture. We stopped at some places that really seemed to give a good representation of rural Latvia and Estonia. Most of the trip was on smaller highways and some dirt roads. It was nice to stop and spend time exploring places that had no other tourists there. I'm from the States and road trips through the country backroads are something that I have always enjoyed. This trip was exactly what I had hoped for. Highlights include: beautiful forests, teutonic castles, medieval towns, war museum, excellent restaurant for lunch, country scenery, and a bobsled track. Worth every penny!

We gathered in Riga and met our fellow travellers from all over the world, and Ruta our driver and guide. First stop was Salaspils prison camp to hear the beating heart monument and see the enormous statues, then Rundale to see the gardens. We enjoyed lunch at a restaurant followed by a visit to the astonishing Hill of Crosses. We stopped at Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania, before arriving in Vilnius in the evening. Ruta was informative and entertaining, telling us lots about the history of the places we visited, and joining in the jokes and banter in the mini-bus. Well worth taking the time to travel on this tour. Can highly recommend this trip.

This tour is a great way to see Latvia and Lithuania attraction while getting from Riga to Vilnius. It would've taken us 4 separate trips from Riga and Vilnius to see all of the attractions we have covered in one day. Our guide Kamile was very informative, upbeat and also had a good balance of quiet and tour time. Our 16 yo son was engaged and it is hard to please them at that age. I would also give huge praise to Kamille for being super helpful when we couldn't get into our hotel since we arrived late. When I couldn't reach hotel mgmt, I panicked and call the only person I knew in Vilnius at that time. Kamille was happy to help and went on looking into other available hotels even if that was not part of her job.

Four of us booked this tour and even with the maximum eight, the bus wasn't too cramped. It sounds like a long bus journey but its neatly divided by four stops, two in Latvia, two in Lithuania so doesn't feel too onerous. All three sightseeing stops were great and few people around. Lunch was the fourth! Laura gave us plenty of information on each stop and general history of both countries. She was also an excellent driver! Would recommend.

Had a long but thoroughly enjoyable day travelling from Riga to Vilnius via the Salaspils Memorial, Rundale Palace, Hill of Crosses and Kaunas. Our stop off for lunch was also good, the meal was tasty and good value. The eight-seater transport was very comfortable and air-conditioned and the itinerary interesting, but the real star was our guide Laura, from Lithuania. It's not often you meet a guide so energetic, knowledgeable, friendly and with near-perfect English. Such a lot of fun too, an absolute gem. Mike was a fantastic guide who had a love for his country and the Baltics, and he was very tapped in to regional facts, locations and folklore. We loved every minute of the trip. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to get off the beaten path while touring the Baltic states!! We saw some amazing things we wouldn’t have otherwise seen!

Friendly, informative tour guide. Good day trip for all, including those with young children. Very accommodating when our oldest daughter felt car sick. Beautiful scenery along the way. National Park and view from Bob Sleigh track were stunning. We were also able to pick wild berries and drink from the river. Food at the Lodge stop was good, although the stuffed animals were a bit off putting for me. Local village stops and military museum allowed us to ride on a wooden courting swing and kids to dress up in military get-up. Only slight negative was that our tour left a little later than planned, which meant we arrived quite late at night into Riga; so just bear this in mind for your evening dining.

We stopped at four different places, two in Latvia and two in Lithuania, which we probably would not have visited otherwise. Having one guide in a small group allowed us to discuss a number of topics other than tourist sights and share a very pleasant lunch. Overall it was a great tour and the tour guide was fantastic. The biggest downside, if you have a group of 8, two people will be smashed in the front seat. That's three deep for more than 12 hours. It is not comfortable and something I wish I knew beforehand.

We really enjoyed this tour from Tallinn to Riga. There were 7 of us in the van, and our guide, Katrin, was excellent. The trip was very interesting, informative and all done in a relaxed atmosphere. We usually do things on our own, since we hate “tour buses” but this was completely different and I would highly recommend it. We would not have captured the depth of the historical and social background of the places we visited if we had done it on our own. It was great to hear a local person’s perspective about the history and culture of each area, and it was also eye-opening to hear first-hand experiences of Katrin’s family.

First stop at the Salaspils monument and museum at the Nazi punishment and labour camp. Very moving site where you can hear an eternal heartbeat. Rundale palace was magnificent with awesome gardens. Hill of Crosses was amazing with over a million crosses of all sizes. Last stop at Kaunus with time to walk around the park and old town. Our guide (so sorry can't remember his name) was a very good driver and was very informative and made the trip interesting. Arrived in Vilnius a little earlier than expected amidst the 30 year Baltic Way celebrations.

This was a small group minibus trip. Stopped at various points where Stan, our driver/ guide gave us the history and insights into the past. The castle ruins at Viljandi were impressive. The keeking was fun! (Giant swing!) . The military museum was very interesting with lots of old tanks, vehicles and Soviet helicopter. A walk through the Gauja park forest and sandstone cliffs was really lovely. A short stop at Cesis to see the castle and beautiful grounds. Final stop at the Bobsleigh track in Sigulda. Amazing track where you can imagine the speeds attained by the contestants. A long day but Stan was a great driver and very knowledgeable.

We had an amazing journey with our guide and the pleasant group that was created. In a few hours we experienced particular things that we wouldn't ever seen without the tour, in particular the Gauja park, Cesis Castle and the fantastic typical lunch. An unexceptionable note is Uku, our guide: a knowledgeable and a very polite boy who took care of us for all the tour's duration making our trip unforgettable; he is also a good driver! In our opinion the only thing we would avoid is the visit to the war's museum because it's too tiring and not visiting it would reduced the duration of the trip.

Nice tour going through interesting sites. Kamile our tour guide was really cool, telling us stories and the story about Lithuania and Latvia and giving us tips for our stay in Riga. I would prefer to exclude Kaunas from the tour and add more time at the Rundāle Palace (as I personally like to explore the cities with more time) but apart from that all was fine.

It was a very enjoyable day with a lot of sightseeing with good company and a fantastic guy whose English was impeccable. We made about 9 stops through the journey. We had a late lunch, but very delicious in a little hotel with plenty of hunting trophies at the border town of Estonia. They guide was very good and approachable who had a very good knowledge of history of the Baltic States.

Our tour was amazing, thank to Lomas, our guide. We visited small medieval and historically meaningful towns and the bigger natural park of the Baltics (a green paradise). We also enjoyed the visit to Sigulda's bob-sleigh park. All of this, listening to Estonian music during the trip, to get perfectly in the mood. Without Lomas and Traveller we would never lived such an adventure travelling from Tallinn to Riga.

What a fantastic day from Riga to Tallinn! Anna was our guide, and she is wonderful. She is talkative, positive, and knowledge. I absolutely loved the stop at the bobsled track, where we got to watch lots of Russian athletes use the track. I absolutely LOVED that we were able to stop for coffee and lunch along the route. I would have been miserable otherwise! I was a solo traveler and we had multiple solo travelers on the trip, which made it very enjoyable. I would have liked to visit the castle in Cesis, but that is really the only thing that I missed. I would like to explore your other options for tours in different countries. Where I can find this information?

"City to city transfer with a difference!"

This is definitely the BEST way to transfer between Riga and Vilnius - with four really interesting and varied stops along the way - the Salaspils memorial, the beautiful Rundale Palace (the largest in the Baltic states), the unique Hill.of Crosses, and the very pretty former Lithuanian capital of Kaunas. A lovely lunch stop is also included - venison steak excellent. Our guide and driver Kamile was bubbly, chatty, informative and pleasant - despite having to drive 450 kn in a day! The only suggestion I would make for improvement is that possibly a little longer could be given time-wise at the Rundale palace for those travelers who want to see inside the palace in addition to having a look around the beautiful gardens.

Such a great trip. Very cool to see towns and places that I would not have normally been able to see. I was surprised at how much we were able to see and do in 1 day without feeling rushed. Overall my friend and I enjoyed this tour as a way to see more than just the capital cities. We really liked stopping in Viljandi and the castle ruins there. We did not enjoy the prolonged stop at the Estonian war museum- all in Estonian without English- while waiting for our lunch (not ordered ahead of time, so no tables available). We didn't eat lunch until around 2:30/3pm so bring snacks....! We really enjoyed the stop at Gaujas national park in Latvia despite the downpour during our brief hike. We enjoyed the stop in Cesis including some time for a drink- we should've gotten a snack as well. We also stopped at a bobsled run before finally reaching Riga- it offered beautiful views but could've been skipped to reach Riga before 9:45pm.

We were very lucky with our guide Kamil, she was very helpful, informative, jolly, funny and a good driver too. The stops we made were enjoyable and helped to break the journey. We particularly liked the bob sleigh stop and the national park. It would have been fun to go down the bob sleigh run on bicycles, but we understand the need for health and safety !! We recommend the tour highly especially as Kamil was kind enough to stop to let us off early in Tallin so we were closer to our hotel. Very helpful.

"More than a transfer from A to B: This adds information, experience and nice company"

After travelling from Vilnius to Riga with the Sihghtseeing Tour Bus, we continued the trip a few days later from Riga to Tallinn with the same tour operator, but different group, different tour leader and of course different route with different stops. This time: a sport site (bob and luge track in Sigulda), a romantic old town (Cesis), a walk in the national park (Gaujas), a military museum (Valga) and castle ruins (Viljandu). Entrance fees were included. Our tour leader was Estonian. He talked a lot about his home country and its history, but didn't know much about Latvia. In one case I even think he mixed up Latvia and Lithuania. Also the announcements (how long will we stop here?) were not always audible in the car. What is spoken in the drivers seat can not always be heard in the back. This is the reason for the missing fifth star. Besides this, the tour was fun. Of course it is a long day and near the end the country roads get a bit boring. However it is the perfect way to travel from Riga to Tallinn if you are not only looking for a transfer but for information, experience and nice company. Definitely recommend!

When you are on your tour through the Baltic states and want to travel from capital to capital, the Sightseeing Bus is the right choice if you do not only want to get from A to B, but if you want to see more of the region, learn about the sites and meet other people (but not too many). Our tour from Vilnius to Riga was perfectly organised. The four sites to visit were quite different: a historic city center (Kaunas), a religious pilgrim place (hill of the crosses), a baroque palace (Rundale) and a memorial site (Salaspils). Entrance fees were included. Ruta was a good and safe driver. I liked her diverse taste for music and the variety of musical styles that we heard during the trip. What really makes her stand out as a tour guide (and we have seen many) is her anticipation of the guests' needs. She answers before the question arises. All explanations were clear and precise, and she explained a lot, always adding a humouros note. Her enthousiasm is great and covered all sites in both countries. Definintely recommend! The special gift at the end of the trip: a city map of Riga with recommendations written by locals. However, it is from last year and already partly outdated, as some of the described cafes no longer exist.

The guide picks you up from the center of Tallinn and drops you back in the center of Riga.. telling you incredible stories of his grandfather in the second world war as he walks you through museum tours and the country side hike. Fabulous time.

We did the bus tour Riga-Tallin. Laura was our guide/driver. A great experience: we just needed to travel one-way from Riga to Tallin and we decided to book the tour instead of a conventional bus or train ticket. We spent a nice and funny day. The tour is well organized, no rush and you can merge a transfer trip with a visit of some of the best Latvian and Estonian location. A special thanks to Laura (she is really one of the most energetics and positive person I have ever met) who was able to entertain us during the whole trip. Totally recommended and a must-go trip if you have to travel through Baltic capitals

In a comfortable new 9-seat van we get an excellent tour not only about countryside between Riga and Tallinn, but also an historical&cultural overview with all its details about development of populatian,language, traditional food, music etc. Private story of family and experiences of our guide added to the normal facts made it very special. I recommend it to all newbys in Latvia&Estonia!!!

I loved the tour and the company. If you want a nice trip between Riga and Tallin rather than a boring journey I would recommend it. Small negative I felt the tour guide was more interested in Estonian history than Latvian and we could have had more historical detail. Not sure about the military museum as I have an aversion to nationalism and militarism and the exhibits were only labelled in Estonian. It was interesting however to learn about Estonia’s struggle for independence. Lunch in Valga was great food. Other highlights were the Gauja national park and Viljendi.

While organizing our Baltic holidays we found out there are not many options to travel between Vilnius and Riga, and this tour probably is the best one! We could travel confortably and safely while visiting some interesting places we would have not be able to reach by ourselves (some of them we actually didn't even know of, like Salaspils Memorial which turned out to be our favourite one!). Ruta was a perfect guide and gave us all the basic infos about the places, without making it too long and boring. At first I wasn't really happy to find out Trakai was taken out of the tour, but now I can easily see it perfectly makes sense as it's very easy to visit by yourself, and would have taken too much time away to all the other places, which are a bit rushed already. Even if you're not a "social" person, the Van is large and confortable so you will have all the "personal space" you will need. My husband and I surely recomend this tour as the best way to move from Vilnius to Riga!

Combining inter-city travelling, and rural sightseeing, is a great concept. We left Vilnius with Ruta at the wheel, and stopped at 4 very different places in rural Lithuania and Latvia. Ruta's knowledge and passion about her homeland made it an informative journey, and the group of 8 international travellers is enough to be comfortable. Highly recommend this trip.

We travelled as a group of six, from Hong Kong and Japan,. Although we have not been lucky in terms of weather (cloudy and rainy), we were very lucky to have Kamile as our guide. The tour itself was very well balanced in where to stop and what to see; we enjoyed the coutryside and learned a lot about the history of both Latvia and Lithuania. Kamile was also extremely helpful when, at the end of the tour at Vilinius, the hosts of one of our Airb&bs were quite irresponsible and our friends could not enter the apartment. She helped us communicate with the hosts by phone and although it must have taken longer than usual, she's dropped us all at our respective lodgings. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this mode of travel as it is much more fun than flying.

It was an interesting tour as we saw parts of the countryside that we would not have made the effort or had the time to see. The guide was excellent and the trip was an enjoyable occasion for our diverse group of 3 generations

A very fun, interesting & efficient way to get from Riga to Tallinn & see & learn a lot along the way! Elina was a great, informative guide & managed the trip perfectly, and the small group format was ideal. I really liked the variety of the visits (focusing on nature, history, sports...) & had a very enjoyable day which was a highlight of our Baltic trip. Highly recommended, thank you!

We were looking for a way to get from Riga to Tallinn while seeing some more of the countryside and were very happy with our choice. The day was great, our guide was fun and knowledgable and the stops along the way were interesting. Would definitely recommend it to others.

This is such an enjoyable and efficient way to travel from Vilnius to Riga, getting to see sights off the cities which would have required separate day trips. Having a guide like Ruta was such a bonus too as she has such bright, positive and infectious energy (you can tell she absolutely loves her job and what she does!). I also liked that this mode of travelling was kept small but yet allowed us to get to know fellow travellers from other parts of the world. Glad we made the choice to travel this way!

We liked the tour very much because we got to places where we surely wouldn't have gone on our own. Our guide Anna did a great job both with driving, both with guiding us giving lots of information and being always ready to answer any questions. The group size was perfect, we were not too many and it was interesting to get to know some people from different countries. The best of the stops was the nature walk in Gauja National Park, incredibly beautiful even if the weather did not really cooperate. We are really happy that we toke this sightseeing transfer tour instead of a boring line bus trip and we absolutely recommend doing it!

We had a great time during the tour. It was very informative and a good way to experience the countries from a different perspective. It was a big plus that it was a small group on tour, only six persons, which made for a more personal and unique experience. We had a passionate guide who really knew his stuff. We can truly recommend taking this tour.

A very enjoyable day, chatting with a local about life in the Baltics and much more, while visiting great sights along the way. Good choice of sights, not too many, not too few, so that we got something out of each stop while not being too rushed.

Robert is an nearly infinite well of knowledge about all subjects. He made this trip extremely educational and interesting. Despite the rain and the poor weather, we had a great time with him and the rest of the bus. He even decided to show us his hometown of Tartu instead of the usual (less interesting imho) path. His passion for history is contagious and I would recommend this tour 100%. Merci Robert!

The tour did exactly what the website described and more. Mike sang, explained and made us pass an excellent time during these 10+ hours. We didn't see the time pass and learned so much about both Lithuania and Latvia. I would recommend it 100%. Merci Mike!

Daumants enjoyed guiding us through the tour, he was highly motivated and enriched the experience with his personal life stories. If you wanna have a sip of these countries and you don’t have much time this is definitely a must.

Booking of the tour was very easy, no endless forms to fill in, wire through CC or Paypal. Laura was a great guide, sharing a lot of her knowledge with us. We had enough time at each stop and defenitely recommend this trip. If you get Laura as a guide you can count yourself very lucky!

The trip was excellent! Everything was organised perfectly, our guide Adam was telling us interesting and sometimes funny stories about the places we visited and life in Lithuania and Latvia. Also, the restaurant we stopped for lunch was very nice with outside tables by the pond. Full recommendation!
