Tour Guide
Virve has a degree from the Higher Art School of Tartu where she majored in media and advertising arts. She used to tour guide in Tallinn extensively in 2009 sometimes taking on 3 groups a day. Virve likes to laugh a lot & by “a lot” she means all the time :) She has a very expressive way of telling stories and she’s got a million different faces. She has a loud voice and gestures bigger than life perfect for both - working as a tour guide turning the summer and as an art teacher turning the rest of the year.
On a daily basis she teaches art and art history to middle school children. Yep, you heard that right – the most difficult age group, so she's prepared for any quirks of tourists and unexpected situations on her tours. As the summer break from school is long and tour guiding is the best job in the world according to her, she still uses her summers to welcome travellers to Tallinn.
We did the 4h bike/walking tour with Virve in July 2015 and we had lots of fun discovering the beautiful city of Tallinn with her. She is a fantastic tourguide with lots of energy and knows many interesting storys of her country. We can warmly recommend her, our best tourguide ever!!!
