"Lot to see and a lot to do"
We enjoyed the drive and sites. The guide was very helpful. The stops helped break up the trip with many interesting things to see.
"A great way to get from Riga to Tallinn"
We enjoyed a very warm guide, a nice group and interesting tours of some of the beautiful and romantic towns along the way
"Full of joy and excitement "
I must say that I was really lucky to take this fantastic tour to Tallinn from Riga. More so, it was enjoyable and remarkably fascinating because of our guide, Elina (whom we actually privileged to call Ellie), who took all the necessary steps to make it a remembering one. Not only she narrated the contemporary history but also she was through about it.
With joy, laughter and happy moments prevailed through out the tour we even celebrated the Birthday of one of the group members on the way to Tallinn. A big thumbs up for Traveller tour and Elina !!
I wish to recommend this tour for any prospective travellers.
"All that in just one day ..."
Great guide, excellent driver, good sense of humour, knew her stuff ... Wonderful tour experience with a great variety of stops.
"Brilliant "
Great tour with a great guide
"Best way to travel from Riga to Tallinn"
We opted for a private tour as it was more flexible. In particular, we had visited Sigulda for a full day (by train from Riga - recommended) so we asked to skip Sigulda and spend more time at Cesis Castle (also recommended.) Note - Elina said that even on a full tour, the guide can do that if everyone agrees.
Elina was full of information and had excellent conversational English. Even if you are on the small group tour (about eight people, max nine), travelling between Riga and Tallinn this way allows you to see a lot more of the country outside the capital cities.
"Better than expected"
Small group, slow paced, and stopping by spots that are difficult to visit if you travel alone. Great experience.
"Superb"
It was fantastic day spent with friendly people and in wonderful environment. Our guide Elina was super, fun, very talktive (in a good way) and helpful. That was enough time for every stop and visit.
"Fabulous tour guide"
The tour was well thought out and executed. Our guide, Ellie, was informative, an excellent driver and accommodated the needs of 3 generations.
"Nice out of the track tour"
We chose this tour based on some website advice. We were very satisfied, you see places that might otherwise miss or that would need a specific trip.
He chance of meeting other nice travellers is not to be disregarded too.
The guides, beyond knowing the places they take you to visit, also can explain a lot about the people and the culture.
"Fun, interesting Riga - Tallinn trip"
A very fun, interesting & efficient way to get from Riga to Tallinn & see & learn a lot along the way! Elina was a great, informative guide & managed the trip perfectly, and the small group format was ideal. I really liked the variety of the visits (focusing on nature, history, sports...) & had a very enjoyable day which was a highlight of our Baltic trip. Highly recommended, thank you!
"Great way to get to Tallinn"
We were looking for a way to get from Riga to Tallinn while seeing some more of the countryside and were very happy with our choice. The day was great, our guide was fun and knowledgable and the stops along the way were interesting. Would definitely recommend it to others.
"Discovering the unknown"
We had a very nice experience traveling from Tallin ti Riga with Eli. She made us discover places in Estonia and Latvia that we wouldn't have seen. Eli was super
"Best transfer between Cities "
This is an excellent way to travel between the two Cities. Easy for travellers and incredibly interesting and informative.
Polite, thoughtful and easygoing guides.
Well worth the money.
"a very informative tour through countryside and history"
This tour has definitely been the best choice to travel vom Tallinn to Riga. Our guide gave us lots of Information about the Baltics in current days as well as their previous and later history.
The time for the visit of the military museum in Valga could have been a little bit longer, but I understand that otherwise we would not have arrived in Riga at a reasonable time.
I can definitely recommended this tour to everyone who wants to travel from Tallinn to Riga not the fastest, but the most impressive way.
"Best way to get from Riga to Tallinn"
We had the most wonderful day and learned so much from our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. The stops were all interesting and lunch was delicious.
"Sightseeing as we go!"
Lovely to actually stop and visit places on the way from Tallinn to Riga - much better than just a straight coach transfer with only a comfort break along the way. Especially liked the stops in Gauja National Park and in Cesis to see the castle. Elina was pleasant, chatty and knowledgeable throughout what is a long day travelling. But the best way to get between the two cities. Great lunch stop also!
"Loved Elina!!!!"
Elina was the best!! She led a super fun and informative tour. She was so interesting and I highly recommend her as a tour guide. Thank you Elina!!
"12 hours with a tireless and cheerful guide "
Recommend the tour, much better than flying
"Truly the most interesting transport option"
The tour is indeed the most interesting way of commute from Tallinn to Riga where you get to stop at a few places listening to interesting stories and meeting people from different places. Our guide Eli is great!
"Perfect pace, amazing guide "
We found this tour a much better pace than the other. There was just the right amount of time in each place, with no long waits. Our guide Elina came with us on each stop and took us around sharing stories and information. The lunch stop was also fantastic value. Highly recommend.
"Off the beaten track "
Eli is a kind energetic friendly enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Very helpful lively and conscientious. The tour was fun informative and entertaining. The 12 hours passed quickly.
"See More Than Just Riga and Talliinn"
We very much enjoyed our trip from Riga to Tallinn, Elina, our tour guide, gave us detailed information about each place we visited. We never would have been able to see all of these places had we not taken the tour. We loved hearing about the history of Estonia and walking through the medieval towns of Viljandi and Cēsis. We also enjoyed learning about the bobsled course in Latvia. Elina was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and also very funny,
"Fantastic Tour"
Really worthwhile tour.
"Wonderful Day Trip from Tallinn to Riga"
We are much appreciated for this one day tour. The time schedule is good because we have visited Estonian Traditional Music Center, Sietiniezis, Cesis and Sighlda. The guide’s sincere and helpful manner could give us a good memory, she gave us many information in each attraction and also explained very well. The lunch is delicious and the place very good. Although this tour is only one day but we extremely grateful to her.
"Wonderful Day Trip from Tallinn-Riga"
We are much appreciated for Miss Eli did in this trip. The time schedule is good. Her sincere and helpful manner could give us a good memory,
"Wonderfull tour with a charming tour guide"
The tour was so much fun. When we started it it was 5 men and Elina, so I thought this is not going to be that interesting. Luckely all people in board were intelligent and cultures so we enjoyed conversing with each other. Elina was the best tour guide a tourist could hope for. So informed, intelligent, witty, considerate, funny and cherming. She was in a great mood to whole time. You can tell she loves doing her job. I saw and learnt so much about these 2 beautifull countries, which I could not have done on my own. This tour has evoked a desire in me to visit Estonia and Latvia again. I would recommend Traveller tours to everyone.
P.S. Give Elina a raise, she deserves it.
"Fantastic trip, amazing guide"
We have a nice trip from Riga to Tallinn with Elina. She is a wonderful, warm, friendly person and an amazing and very informative guide. She made us a great day. Thanks, Eli, for everything!
"Great fun"
We learned a lot about the local sights, customs and culture in just one day. Our guide was very passionate about sharing her personal experiences as well which made all the stories even more interesting. Because were an international group, it was also fun to exchange our travel tips and tricks amongst each other. The long say is quite intense, but each stop was definitely worth it. My personal favorite: the beautiful national park.
"Itinerary Not Very Interesting"
We are not interested in a bobsled run; Cesis did not have much to offer; the military museum turned out to be a private collection of discarded Soviet military items.
The Gauja Nat’l Park was worthwhile seeing and the Viljandi site offered historical as well as cultural context.
Unless the itinerary is improved we would not recommend.
Our guide Elena was very good: a responsible driver, well informed, communicated well, approachable. This interaction with a native was valuable.
"Great day trip through Estonia & Latvia"
We really enjoyed this 12 hour bus trip from Tallinn to Riga! Would recommend to anyone traveling between the two cities. Interesting history, medieval towns and delicious lunch spot! Thanks for a great day!
"A memorable experience "
An enjoyable and worthwhile excursion without which I would not have gotten to visit and experience some beautiful and interesting parts of both Latvia and Estonia. Having a guide who was both knowledgeable, interested and engaging put this tour far above any other tours I have experienced.
"Great Tour. "
Elina was a great tour guide from Riga to Tallinn. The drive was broken up by some great stops and the pace was amazing. She was very accommodative and she was such a nice person! Loved it and highly reccomend. Turns a travel day into something more.
"Great Journey"
Our driver/guide was Eli who entertained us all the way. She was fun, chatty and knowledgeable and of course a good driver - we chatted the whole way to Riga!
"Very very good!!!!"
What can I say?
A very nice guide! Fascinating places! The whole program went as we wanted !!
An experience that I would gladly do again !!
Difficult for me to choose the most beautiful place !!!!
I still remember the fun on the big swing ;) the beauty of the castles, the charm of nature and the surprise of the bobsleigh track
"Lovely guide, room for itinerary improvement!"
While this concept is amazing and a very fun way to get from point A to point B, and our guide was super knowledgeable and lovely (and as invested in Eurovision as we were haha), the itinerary could use a little bit of work. There is only one stop for food in 12 hours (we luckily brought some snacks, but were still dying by the end of it) and tucking in a long school-like lesson about the Soviet Occupation (and gross food with worms in it) right before lunch might not be the wisest scheduling. I personally also think almost 50 minutes of war is a bit much, as important as it is to know your history, I'd rather have spent some more time exploring the National Park!
All in all it was an alright tour though, and like I said our guide was lovely, there's just a lot of room for itinerary improvements!
