"Adventures with Hannes"
What a great way to get from Riga to Tallinn! Yes, I could have taken a much quicker trip on a direct bus, but I would have missed seeing so much of the lovely countryside in Latvia and Estonia--places that are definitely off the beaten track. And I wouldn't have had half the fun I did with our charming and enthusiastic guide, Hannes, and the nice group of travelers from Brazil, Germany, the UK and Spain. From slightly rigorous forest hikes to walkabouts in historic towns to a whacky tour of the former Soviet bobsled training facilities, it was a day packed with both the fun and the serious. We also had a lovely lunch at a handsome country restaurant. Hannes was witty and good about keeping us all together. This was a great opportunity to learn tall tales and dig into the very complex history of the Baltics.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore more than just the old town of Tallinn and who is interested in the post Soviet space if Estonia. Our host Hannes was extremely knowledgeable and approachable both in respect of the tour itself and life in current Estonia. We covered a lot of ground from waterfalls to ex Soviet nuclear facilities to an authentic Russian meal to an old antonov transport plane now the headquarters of a model aircraft club. I'm only sorry that I missed the Narva trip but I intend to book that in advance when I next visit this fascinating country. Cheers Hannes and cheers to traveller tours!

"Perfect way for traveling from Tallinn to Riga"
I would like to say that this expirience was amazing. We learned a lot from Estonia country history, how they live now. Our tour guide has a lot of knowledge to share, which was really appreciated. Would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to see something more, not just a capital cities.

Exciting day of travel between Tallinn and Riga. I am unable to remember all of the names of the locations, but enjoyed Cesis and the 1980s skeleton run track greatly! My guide Hannes was fantastic and made a real effort to bring the group together. Would definitely recommend!

"A must-go tour if you're in Tallinn"
I took the Lahemaa National Park Day Tour which is definitely a highlight in my trip in Tallinn. I would like to give my special thanks to my guide Hannes. He is knowledgeable about local, curious in history and respectful to nature. Going on a tour with him is like a vivid biology class back to school. Thank you all for such a well-arranged tour! I would definitely recommend it to my friends who would visit Tallinn in the future.
"Bet way from Riga to Tallinn"
The tour was a great way to get from Riga to Tallinn. Van was on time, comfortable, and safely driven. Every hour or so we stopped at medieval towns with castles, national park, museum, and a bobsleigh run (much more interesting that it sounds!). Thanks Hannes for a great tour.

A great tour around the Natuonal Park. Hannes was an excellent guide with lots of knowledge and a great sense of humour. The day was well organised with plenty of places to visit. Walking in the bog was the highlight.
"A Full Day of Nature Walks!"
We wanted to spend a day at Lahemaa but didnt know we would need an international drivers license to rent a car. Traveller's tour to the rescue! We booked this tour hoping it would give us a full day in nature, hiking, seeing the water and breathing in the fresh air and it did. Our guide Hannes obviously cared about history and we were glad to learn from him. Lots of walking on this one but easy flat and beach walking.

Really enjoyed this day trip. Our guide Hannes was informative and also made the day lots of fun as well. Loved everything about this trip. We were a bit sceptical about the lack of choice for lunch but this ended up being a highlight of the day as food was great and well priced. We learned so much about Estonian history and also experienced the beautiful countryside.

This was a private tour so we wanted lors of flexibility. Hannes was very accomodatinh allowing us to choose the sites we wanted to see.
He drove really well, knew his facts and history, and delivered his stories in a very entertaining manner.
As rain poured down on us in Viljanda, we had to br ultra flexible on the remaining hours.
As I needed to be in Riga at 7pm to catch a flight, and we needed additional suitcases, Hannen obliged our shopping needs and ensured we would find what we needed.
Hannes was very helpful, cheerful and enthusiastic, all good traits for guides.
It was a day well spent with Traveller tours from tallin to riga.

The tour was very good. We stopped at nice and interesting places. Our tour guide Hannes was a fun person, I can recommend him. Sadly one stop was closed because of a local celebration. I would have liked that they are aware of that beforehand and would plan an alternative stop instead.

"GREAT DAY IN NATURE"
The tour was very good. I really needed the nature time after being in the Song Festival crowds. Only issue was the rented vehicle. It had no air conditioning and had a gas leak somewhere. That made for an unpleasant drive between stops.

The bog is very interesting. The pace is not so fast and is suitable for family with kids and senior. Hannes is also very knowledgeable about plant and history. I have good time
"Unique and beautiful part of the world"
This tour was a great way to see the beautiful national park. The Altja area was absolutely stunning, where the eerie pine forest met the brilliant blue Baltic sea strewn with glacier-borne granite boulders. Also lunch at a local tavern was hearty and traditional. Our guide Hannes went in detail describing not only the natural beauty that we were witnessing, but also covering Estonian modern history of the last 200+ years, giving us some context around why Estonians love nature. He did it all with a great sense of Estonian dry humour. All in all a great day that I would highly recommend, even if you don't get the beautiful sunny day that we had.
"Fantastic trip from Riga to Tallin!"
The tour was challenging for our guide as the public holiday meant roads were closed and usual restaurants and some sites weren’t open. He was great at improvising and finding other venues and events that made the most of the holiday activities. It was wonderful to have access to such knowledge of the history and culture, all relayed with a sense of fun. This is my second trip of this type and I highly recommend it
